Augusta Style

Hey Ya’ll! Let’s celebrate our Southern Roots today and talk about Augusta Style/CSRA. Augusta Style in my experience is a combination of Modern Traditional, Modern Farmhouse, and Contemporary. These are some of my favorite styles too. If you check out the portfolio of work I’ve done here in Augusta on the website you’ll see that this all ties together into something that’s not too showy, leans into semi-casual comfort with style.
We love our wood. In Augusta I encounter the need for natural wood tones all the time. They come in a variety of colors but most popular is light sandy beach. We’re known for our Master’s Golf Tournament and it makes sense that lighter colors would go along with the green hills and sand traps at Augusta National. A little country casual or rustic often get’s thrown in there too with knotty wood or live edge pieces!
Soft colors are also a real staple here in Augusta, from blues to beiges, ivories and blush tones a light and bright feeling is most often requested here. And right now, blue is the most popular color requested! From blue kitchens to blue dining rooms and living rooms, blue is a beautiful color, I consider some of it's tones to be neutrals. They go so well with everything.
There are so many beautiful old homes in Augusta and bringing them back to life and away from dark heavy furniture and colors is popular. Blending traditional accents of moldings, doors and ceilings with more contemporary furniture is also very popular. These things also characterize the most popular rooms that I’m given inspiration for straight from my website. And for our new homes, they are built along really clear style lines too with Modern Farmhouse being the most popular for builders. The beautiful thing about Modern Farmhouse is that you can lean into it and make that your furniture and decor style for the whole house, or you can lean almost any other direction! It's a great base, so don't feel stuck if your home has this vibe.
When you’re thinking of design it’s fun to know if you fit into the general “Augusta Feel” but if you don’t, no worries! Your style is your style and it’s fun and gives you the feels that you want in your home. I love designing them all!
